Description

A fundamental component within the Austrian Army boot repertoire, these robust alpine boots, crafted for the Bundesheer by a consortium of skilled manufacturers, undeniably possess one of the most esteemed lineages in the realm of alpine warfare.

They strike a remarkable equilibrium between classic boot design and sturdiness, incorporating contemporary elements such as swift lacing mechanisms that enhance their versatility.

Internally, these boots boast a lavish interior entirely swathed in top-tier, glove-like leather, while their external shell is fashioned from a resilient full-grain cowhide. Austrian boots have garnered a reputation for enduring multiple deployments, whether passed on to the succeeding cohort of trainees or, due to recent legislative alterations, carried home as cherished mementos by their wearers.

Features:

  • Hook Grommets
  • Constructed from 2mm thick leather, featuring full-grain cowhide
  • Insulated tan leather lining envelops the entire throat
  • A fully gusseted tongue
  • Partially perforated ankle vents allow perspiration to escape while preserving the internal environment
  • Padded Collar
  • Ranging from 10 to 11 inches in height, providing comprehensive ankle support and coverage
  • A reinforced toe cap
  • Equipped with 4 rows of D-rings and 4 or 5 rows of hook-style speed lacing grommets

    Great boots.

Just be careful with size selection as 43/8 is approx 1-2 cm smaller than my normal UK 9 but they will wear in.

    Quality boots for small money

Buying boots online is always a gamble unless you’re replacing the same brand and model. After reading all the reviews I could find about these boots I was convinced of the quality but still worried about the right size to buy. The sale price seemed too good not to take the risk so I went with EU size 44, a half size up from my Merrill 43.5. The boots arrived in working order but I’d judge the pair I received to be “good “ rather than “very good “. Quite a bit of wear in the soles and the leather was as dry as a desert with a bit in the inside heels needing some glue. First try on was very squeezy but after lots of leather conditioning they are now just fine. I still have a few more miles to walk before they stop feeling like someone else’s boots but they’re going to be great.

    Alpine Ranger Boots

Considering these boots are probably made by a high end manufacturer that normally sell their stuff for over $500 they are great and a a give away.

    Austrian ranger boots

Awesome boots. Size is accurate , size 10 Aussie fits size 10 Austrian. Lots of life left in my boots can't wait to take them on a hunt. Not the lightest boot but I'm happy to trade ruggedness and euro quality for weight any day.
