At Army and Outdoors, we know that fast and reliable delivery is important to you. Below, you'll find all the details on our shipping process, estimated delivery times, and what to do if you have any issues.

How long does delivery take?

    Please Note: While the processing and delivery times listed above reflect our average shipping times, they are estimates. Occasionally, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control.

    Who do you ship with?

    We use DHL / Australia Post for all Australian orders. They provide a reliable and efficient delivery service with tracking for peace of mind. If you're looking for an Express service, we recommend using DHL.

    If you have specific delivery requests, you can add a note at checkout in the comment box, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

    Where can you deliver?

    • We ship to residential, business, and rural addresses across Australia.
    • Ensure your delivery address is correct when placing your order—we are not responsible for incorrect addresses or misplaced deliveries.
    • If no one is available to receive the package, it may be left in a safe place or require collection from a local depot.

    What if I haven’t received my package?

    If your package hasn’t arrived within 8 days of dispatch:

    1. Check your tracking number to see its status.
    2. Contact Australia Post or DHL for any delivery updates.

    If there’s still an issue, contact us here and we’ll help resolve it.


    Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

    At Army and Outdoors, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange an item, please review our policy below.

    Returns Policy

    We offer a 30-day return policy for online orders. To be eligible for a return:

    Timeframe Contact us and return the item within 30 days of delivery.
    Condition Items must be unused, in original condition, and not worn outdoors.
    Exclusions Some items cannot be returned (see below for details).


    • 1. Start a return
      Return, replace or exchange items. Enter your order number and email address.
    • 2. Repackage & Return
      Include all items that were sent and a note explaining the problem and what you would like done. Send it back to us.
    • 3. We will be in touch when your return is processed
      Whether it is a refund or an exchange, we'll let you know what's happening.

    Damaged or Incorrect Items

    Please inspect your order upon arrival. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

    1. Complete our returns form immediately.
    2. We will arrange a replacement or refund as soon as possible.

    Change of Mind

    We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases online or in-store unless the item is faulty.

    Sizing & Fit Exchanges

    Need a different size? No problem! We offer size exchanges when stock is available. If your requested size is unavailable, we will offer a refund or store credit.

    Non-Refundable & Non-Returnable Items

    Unfortunately, some items cannot be returned or refunded:

    • Clearance items
    • Military surplus items (exchange only for sizing, no refunds).
    • Face masks, base layers, underwear (for hygiene reasons).
    • Worn, used, or altered merchandise.
    • Gift cards and e-gift cards (not redeemable for cash).
    • Printed dog tags (unless we made an error).

    Items that do not meet return criteria may be refused.

    Freight Costs & Reimbursement

    • Refunds/store credits apply to merchandise onlyshipping costs are non-refundable.
    • Customers are responsible for return shipping fees unless the item was incorrect or faulty.

    Order Cancellations

    • You may cancel your order before it ships.
    • A 10% cancellation fee may apply due to non-refundable third-party processing fees.

    How to Return an Item

    1. Pack the item securely in a delivery-proof bag or box (original packaging preferred).
    2. Include the following information:
      • Order number
      • Your name & address
      • Reason for the return
      • Whether you want a replacement, refund, or store credit
    3. Refunds are processed to the original payment method:
      • Credit card refunds will be issued back to the card used.
      • Bank transfers require your bank details for processing.

    Processing Time: Returns are processed as soon as they arrive. However, shipping times for returns can take 3-14 days before reaching us.
