Description
El Salvador adopted their current flag in 1912, shortly before the Great War. The royal blue represents the great sky and the two oceans of Central America. The white represents peace, harmony and solidarity with the world. In the centre of the flag is the El Salvador coat of arms.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
