Description
The flag of Brunei was adopted in 1959. The yellow background represents the sultan of Brunei. The red crescent represents Islam and is flanked by two hands raised upwards. The black and white stripes represent the first ministers of the country.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
