One of the handiest general purpose pouches the US Marine Corps has come up with, to accompany the Family of Improved Load Bearing Equipment (FILBE). These pouches are a great size to chuck on plate carriers, the front of a placard or just about anywhere on the back of a rucksack - anywhere with 6 rows of MOLLE spare. Our latest batch are in very near new condition, except like many US surplus items hanging out in long storage - the water resistant backing/lining to the interior has gone a bit tacky.
A simple water/dust resistant zipper with generous paracord pull tabs allows for easy access to its contents. Inside is nothing fancy - exactly what you want with general stuff it pouches. The only thing in there is a small fabric subdivided area against the back wall for maps or the likes.
Doesn't get much simpler or better than that - a rugged pouch for whatever you want to shove in it. Buff up your pack or combat load with one of these genuine USMC FILBE assault pouches!
