Description

This is the British Army's modern thermal liner. A fleece by itself isn't to impressive, but paired with a windproof smock or the likes and it provides plenty of insulation.

These fleeces are very straight forward - the front has a full length zip with a large pull tab. These can be zipped all the way up the collar which comes up just below the chin. Each cuff is elasticated with thumb-holes and the waist has a draw string you can adjust to retain the heat your body makes. The fleeces are made with a soft 100% Polyester build which will keep you feeling snug on those chilly winter mornings.

If your looking for a fantastic under layer to keep you warm while your hunting, airsofting or just everyday wear, these are for you!

Features:

  • Genuine British Army surplus
  • Full length zip
  • 2 x Zipper waist pockets
  • Elasticated cuffs
  • Thumb holes
  • Draw string waist
  • Soft Polyester material

Excellent value

Mine still had the last users name written on the tag but the quality of this fleece jumper is excellent. A lot thicker than the ADF issued cold wear jacket liners and constructed a lot better.

Nice Warm Fleece.

Just received my fleece top, it looks almost new. Fits on the larger side which I prefer. You can tell this is a quality piece of kit, well made and good quality materials. Everything I have purchased from Army and Outdoors has been brilliant. Quick delivery to Australia and great products, the condition of the gear has always been as described or better. Look forward to getting more gear.

Good no-frills fleece

Very pleased with this item - also pleased with great customer service that ensured I got correct size after my "fat-fingers" error on the keyboard.

Quite a slim fit and fairly no-frills and well made (although I did find a discretely located "Made in China" label - it's still obviously mil-spec with attendant high quality) ; has two quite spacious hand-warmer pockets but that's about it. No epaulettes or Velcro panels and with the pea-green colour means you can wear it without it screaming "Army Surplus".

As either an outer layer or as a liner it provides good warmth-for weight.

Four stars.
