Description
Introduced in 1967, the flag of Antigua and Barbuda came into being with the achievement of self governance. The V shape is for victory and the different shades within it representing the Caribbean Sea. The black area represents the African ancestry of the country and the red colour for energy of the people.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
