Here we have the trousers component of the APECS (All Purpose Environmental Clothing System).
For the Marine Corps and Air Force, the All Purpose Environmental Clothing System (APECS) is the successor to Layer 4 of Generation II of the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). APECS is a 3rd generation outer garment set (parka & trousers) that reduces noise and weight, increases IR and environmental protection, and incorporates the MARPAT (Marine Pattern) camouflage or in this case the USAF ABU "Digital Tiger Stripe" pattern.
These quality US made trousers will keep you protected from the wind and rain while giving you plenty of utility. Unlike a lot of other wet weather trousers, these ones actually have cargo pockets! Often a weak point, they are not for these - everything has been well constructed and seal taped internally. Whether you are hitting the slopes skiing or mountain climbing - you'd be hard pressed to find a better quality outer shell than these US Air Force APECS trousers!
