Description
The flag of South Korea is also known as Taegukgi. A white - traditional Korean colour - rectangle makes up the background and a red and blue Taeguk in the center symbolises balance. Surrounding this are four black trigrams on each corner of the flag. This flag was adopted in 1883, however the modernised version was created in 1997.
