Description
For a quick patch up when out in the field, soldiers would rely on this handy, genuine issue military sewing kit. It's packed with all the bits and bobs they needed to repair damaged gear. There is a selection of buttons, five types of thread, a thimble, two safety pins, a pair of scissors and five sewing needles, all wrapped up in a olive drab pouch.
This sewing kit has a wide range of uses and purposes. Dated to 1991, it may not be the oldest piece of military gear but still makes for a nice addition to anyones military collection. Great for fixing up holes while out trekking or hiking. It's the perfect gift for anyone with a passion for sewing, they'll be sure to love the contents and authentic military style.

Comes pretty stocked with a nice assortment (thimble, safety pins, a lot of thread, Derby scissors, various buttons, needles though a little rusted etc.

As expected for German engineering it is an awesome piece of kit, well stocked (or at least mine was) with a good selection of sewing gear, nice compact size which wouldnt be noticed in the backpack gear...

This is a handy piece of kit to stash at work, in your bag, anywhere you think it might be useful to have a repair kit.

You get alot of gear for the price and is a must have for every hunting or tramping bag, the needles are wrapped up in foil so they aren't loose in the pouch. Although mine came with only the 2 large canvas needles, no safety pins and 3 thimbles, so you might have to add some sewing tools of your own.
