Description

The 'Kampfgruppen der Arbeiterklasse' aka KdA or 'Combat Groups of the Working Class' in English, was a organized East German paramilitary branch founded in 1953. It was made up of party members and 'politically reliable working people' in order to suppress civil unrest and resist invasion.

These caps were issued to the state militia and also regular NVA troops in the hundreds of thousands. Mass produced, these caps maintain a good amount of utility and ruggedness you would expect from military surplus. The inside has a light amount of padding for some insulation along with fold down ear flaps to take the chill off. A bendable peak shades the users eyes from the sun and also has ventilation holes to help your hair breathe. Topped off with a classic East German badge sewn onto the front.

An iconic cap from the Socialist East German era, add one to your combloc collection today!
