Description

*Note* Some of these packs have coyote strapping, some have MTP (like 4th photo) - these will be picked at random

These packs are issued to the British Army to keep the troops hydrated. This time the bladders appear used so make sure you wash those out thoroughly or insert your own. These packs can be worn on the back like a rucksack or attached to a PLCE bergen with the clips. Staying hydrated in between water stops is made easier with a 2.5 litre capacity!

The internal bladder is protected by an MTP (Multi Terrain Pattern) shell made from strong Cordura nylon. A side zip allows the bladder to be accessed and removed for easy cleaning. The tube features a bite-off dust cap with a valve and button operation. Three D-rings down the sides and a loop on the front allows additional gear to be attached. Hydration backs are an excellent option for carrying water while hiking, hunting or even cycling. Don't pass up the opportunity to grab a high quality military hydration pack!

  • Genuine British Army surplus
  • PLCE compatible

Absolutely love it

I have had this since the start of 2021 when I went on a hunting trip when we had a base camp and went out during days and this worked wonders for me it had all I needed since it was really hot at the time so plenty of water and without a million straps in the way so I could bush bash without them getting caught. I've been on many of other trips with it just sitting in my pack to use and pulling out if I need to go on a stalk. so plenty of use and has held up so well. I used this with no problems at all making my dad who has spend lots of time in the bush and hunting jealous of me cause he still wears his big back packs if we go on a day walk some were and I can just do quick bush bashing without anything sticking out and catching all the time. and I remember when my mum told me to use all the modern non army stuff cause it preforms better when really this would preform so much better than any massively expensive hydration pack so don't let that big stuff deceive you sometimes. so really lovely product and looking forward to using it in the future.

Nailed it

Totally agree with Dylan, so much so, I've come back and scored a couple for the kids, so much better than lugging around the canteen when you're out with the bush in ya face

They thought of everything

This one is worth the price which is somewhat lower than some of the more 'namebrandy' alternatives because of some key considerations made by the designers. I was very irritated that the mouthpiece my old camelbak/bladder kept getting covered in dirt and ferns when I'd take it out of my pack to fill it up in the bush. This could also happen while tramping through denser bush like in the Pureoras. However, this bladder has a cap for the mouthpiece which is itself a lot stronger than my old one which began to split. Not only did they think of that, but the cord is insulated in some hard-wearing fabric which keeps the water left in the tube cool whilst protecting it from damage. You'll also find the straps handy if you're going for a day hunt and don't want to bring a bulky pack to carry water (goes rather well with a belt and some pouches which you can find elsewhere on here). Another positive for me was that it doesn't have the pressurisation system my old bladder had which turned out to be far more trouble than it was worth, filling it up is also pretty easy, you can sling it in a stream with the cap open and drag it across to fill it right up. Brilliant bit of kit, one those rare examples where something a military uses is genuinely better than most commercial alternatives.
